Dear Friends, Partners and Supporters
Let me begin by expressing again my deep appreciation to Mr Lim Siong Guan, whose vision, leadership, and tireless dedication built the foundation that Honour (Singapore) stands on today. His legacy of conviction and clarity continues to guide our mission, and I’m honoured to carry that baton forward.
This is a season of renewal; a new chapter. With fresh energy and ideas, we are working through a high-level strategic refresh to position Honour (Singapore) for the road ahead. We live in a complex, fast-changing world and we believe our values are more relevant than ever.
Our mission remains steadfast – to promote a Culture of Honour, for a Resilient, Gracious and Future-ready Singapore. We are sharpening our focus and refreshing our approach to better equip ourselves, as individuals, families, communities, organisations and a nation to meet the challenges ahead, both known and unknown.

Here are some of the ways we’re evolving:
 |
A New Addition to the Board: |
We're happy to welcome Mr Mohamed Irshad to our Board of Directors. A passionate changemaker, Irshad brings with him deep interfaith experience, youthful energy, and strong community roots. His appointment reflects our commitment to bridging communities and shaping an inclusive future.
 |
Strategic Refresh: |
We're reimagining our direction to deepen our impact. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Ms Chew Gek Khim, we’ve sharpened the purpose of the Panel of Community Advisors of Honour (Singapore). Also, a heartfelt thanks to Ms Goh Swee Chen for her leadership as she charts a high-level strategic refresh to help maximise our reach and impact.
 |
Revitalising Our Honour Champions Community (HCC): |
We’re breathing new life into this key initiative. Going forward, the HCC will be driven by enthusiastic volunteers, people who live out the values of Honour in their unique ways. Their inner energy will bring a new spark to our efforts.
 |
New Collaborative Efforts: |
We are currently exploring new collaborations with various organisations, both non-profits and corporates, to broaden our reach and deepen community engagement, with the aim of creating meaningful touchpoints across diverse communities as we seek to build a gracious society together.
 |
Looking Ahead: Making the Future |
We believe remembering our roots and honouring our predecessors is important. But we must also take an active role in Making the Future we want. That’s why we’ve embraced this tagline: a simple yet powerful expression of what Honour (Singapore) stands for, in just three words. At the heart of this is our aspiration to shape a Gracious Society - one where other-centredness is at the core. It’s no small task, but it’s a deeply meaningful and inspiring one. And we humbly ask you to join us in creating it, together.

HR Community Gathering |
I had the privilege to speak at the recent Honour Champions Community event on 1 March, organised by our Lead Convenor, Mr Foo Chek Wee and his dedicated team. I'm also deeply grateful to SGInnovate for generously hosting the session which was attended by around 25 senior leaders from the HR community. The event was both energising and engaging. The discussions were robust with a strong spirit of shared purpose. Do visit us on LinkedIn to catch the event highlights and stay updated on upcoming Honour Champions Community gatherings.
 |
Honour (Singapore) x Singapore Leaders Network Event |
On 8 April, our Founder and Advisor, Mr Lim Siong Guan, will be speaking at an inaugural event by Honour (Singapore) and the Singapore Leaders Network Event. Mr Lim will be sharing his thoughts, from his wealth of experience, on the timeless values of Honour and their cruciality for the long-term survival and success of Singapore.

In a world where trust is fragile and division spreads quickly, the simple acts of keeping our word, honouring one another, and seeking the good in others have never been more vital. The impact of a culture of Honour and Honouring is profound in shaping families, communities, workplaces and society.
I cannot overemphasize the importance of your moral and financial support. Every contribution, however big or small, from individuals or corporates, is greatly appreciated. As an Institution of Public Character (IPC), all donations qualify for tax deductions. We also warmly welcome sponsorships for the Honour Film Initiative and our other meaningful programmes. Thank you for your support and encouragement over all the years!
Richest Blessing,
Mohammad Alami Musa
