Ayah

How does it feel to be the daughter of one of the Invisible People of Singapore?
Nur Khairah knows this bittersweet reality first-hand. She produced and co-wrote this short film about her dad – one of the many silent heroes who work hard to keep Singapore moving and humming.

Inspiration: “My dad is a SMRT staff, and has been working there for more than 20 years. Growing up, I always admired his dedication to his job. I wrote this film to honour him and people like him who work to keep Singapore moving.”

A Production of Ngee Ann Polytechnic

Director: Amelia Sai
Producer: Nur Khairah
